Based on the data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, GMA Network, Inc.(GMA 7) is the top TV Network not only in Metro Manila but all throughout the Philippine archipelago.
GMA 7 delivered the most watched lineup of programming as it registered 33.2 share points, 1.4 points ahead of ABS-CBN's 31.8 share points and 18.3 points more than the TV 5's 14.9. The statistics was acquired from the household data in National Urban Philippines covering the period January 1 to February 13, 2011.
In viewer-rich Mega Manila, which comprise 58 percent of total television households nationwide, GMA garnered 37.7 share points, higher by 12.5 points from ABS’ 25.2; and by 20 points from TV5′s 17.7.
GMA launched several programs in January which contributed to the superior ratings of the Network. From January to February 11, the program launches which scored high share points in their respective timeslots in National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) include Machete starring Aljur Abrenica with 25.1 points; I Heart You Pare topbilled by Regine Velasquez and Dingdong Dantes which scored 29.7 points; Dwarfina with Heart Evangelista and Dennis Trillo scored 27.3 points; and the afternoon hit Alakdana starring newest tween loveteam of Louise delos Reyes and Alden Richards with 40.3 share points.

I tried to understand if where GMA 7 got this data! All over the Philippines are aware regarding if what kind of company is AGB Neilsen Media Research. Until now they have still a case with ABS-CBN regarding on what they've done on manipulating the ratings. People all over the Philippines knows that there programs are not most watched. I want to laugh on this because until now they are giving false information to our Televiewers.

Anonymous, if you don't believe on that result, it is your right. I know it is hard to believe but whether you like it or not GMA is gaining more and more viewers.
ReplyDeletegma7 is still the number 1 network..AGB neilsen na nga ang nag post ng mga ratings eh;;;alam namen na mahirap tanggapin ang katotohanan para sa mga televiewers ng kapamilya network:;;;but for me Still GMA is the reigning tv network in the philippines.

ReplyDeletediba kya nga ngka case ang AGB vs. ABS-CBN dhil hnd umayon ang AGB sa sinsabi ng ABS-CBN, at sa case ng GMA vs. ABS-CBN ilang beses n talo ang dos,, hangang apallate court. at bkit bukod tangi ABS lng ang di gumagamit ng data mula AGB ???? at my nbasa ako n di daw mhalga kung mlki o maliit ang sample population sa survey?? naku po mahalga po un dahil kung mlaki ang population n pagaaralan mo dapat ang sample population mo ay tutugma kpag kinuha ang weight nito,,,,, and i think kung di credible ang AGb eh bkit mas mdami ang gumagmit ng knilang dat compare sa ginagamit ng ABS na sila lang ang gumgamit?
ReplyDeleteexcuse me...magbasa ka nga!!!! internationally acclaimed kaya ang survey na binabasehan ng ABS CBn. ang GMA, nagbibigay diumano ng 500 pesos at grocery for ratings...sino ang honest and number 1?
ReplyDeletehindi nga kilala ang mga artists ng GMA..pano magiging number 1??? common sense madlang pips..naman..naman naman.. matatanda lang ang kilala sa kanila gaya ng tvj..mga gurang!!!!!
ReplyDeletekaya naman number 1 ang gma sa ibang bansa kasi mas mura ang bayad pag nagsubscribe, malamang cable network yun sa ibang bansa eh... ang mahal naman magsubscribe sa tfc kasi napaka-prestigious ng channel, kaya walang binatbat ang gma7 sa abs lalo na sa ibang bansa! but people are getting practical these days kas mahirap na ang buhay ngayon, tiis muna sa mahinang network makakuha lang ng info sa philippines... tsk.. mag-isip nga kayo!
